The Vatican museum is located inside the smallest country in the world, the Vatican City. It holds 70,000 works including Roman sculptures and Renaissance artworks collected by the Catholic Church over the centuries. We visited on the 12th March 2019 and here are some snapshots from the day.
It was so creepy seeing this mummies! 😱 We've never seen the inside of a sarcophagus before but goddamn, that was an eerie experience.
Ahh, Romans, so boastful of their violence. I'm glad we don't live in the gladiator period...
Kinky! Didn't realize feet fetishes were a thing even back then HAHAHAHA
Dayummmm, the Vatican museum was truly a display of the Christian world with all the gold and jewels. It was very cool to see and we purchased some rosary beads from the gift shop. Thanks for reading!
