If you've ever seen pictures of Japan, or have friends who have been, you will have seen these famous torii gates. The Fushimi Inari Shrine is the head shrine of the Fox, located at the base of a mountain in Kyoto. There are a few smaller shrines scattered in the mountain, with hundreds of these bright orange torii gates lining the pathway to the top. It takes about 2 hours to walk to the top of the mountain.
